Female Suicide Bomber Blows Up Nigeria Bus Station; At Least 13 Dead

Witnesses said the blast at a crowded bus station in Potiskum, north-eastern Nigeria was triggered by a female suicide bomber.
Witnesses said they saw the suicide bomber, a woman, boarding a bus as transport officials were loading it. The bus then exploded.
The bus, which was bound to Kano, was completed destroyed. Other vehicles at the Dan-Borno bus station were also damaged in the bomb blast Tuesday.

At least 13 corpses have been taken to a mortuary in Potiskum while more than 30 people were being treated at a local hospital for various injuries.
As of this posting, no one claimed responsibility for Tuesday's bombing, which bore the hallmarks of Islamist militant group Boko Haram.
Tuesday's bombing as the second attack on Potiskum in recent days.
Last Sunday, another female suicide bomber blew herself up at a security checkpoint outside a market in Potiskum.
Five people were killed and dozens were wounded in the said attack.
Witnesses said the suicide bomber was a young girl. Other said the girl was about 7 years old.
Meanwhile, Spanish authorities on Tuesday said it has busted a ring dedicated to recruiting young women to join the Islamic State extremist group.
Spain's Interior Ministry said four people were arrested in the series of raids. Two recruiters were arrested in the Spanish north African enclave of Melilla while two suspects accused of spreading IS propaganda online were detained in the northeastern cities of Barcelona and Girona.
The four were not identified but the ministry said the suspects arrested in Melilla
"The suspects arrested in Melilla were dedicated to the recruitment of women who, after a process of indoctrination, would end up integrated into this terror group," the ministry said in a statement.
