It seems like Star Trek star Leonard Nimoy has found himself in a place where no one would ever want to go-the hospital.

As reported by TMZ, Nimoy was immediately brought to the UCLA Medical Center last Thursday for experiencing severe, terrible chest pains.

Unfortunately, this isn't the first time that Nimoy has found himself in a medical issue, as just these past months, he has been going in and out of the hospital.

Fortunately, despite health issues, the 84-year old actor is staying positive and well enough to share a few words of wisdom to millions of his Twitter followers.

Last Sunday night, he tweeted, "A life is like a garden. Perfect moments can be had, but not preserved, except in memory." And concluded his tweet with his trademark LLAP in the Star Trek series, which means, "Live Long and Prosper."

Nimoy has been in the entertainment industry for more than six decades. He started when he was about 20 years old, but it was not until 1966 when he played Mr. Spock on the original Star Trek series when his career really took off.

After starring in Star Trek, he continued to star in innumerable movies, including the two most recent Star Trek movies which starred Chris Pine, who played Captain Kirk and Zachary Quinto, who played the young Spock.

In September of last year, rumors about Nimoy appearing on the upcoming Star Trek 3 and reuniting him with William Shatner started surfacing. However, until now, there has been no official announcement whether or not Nimoy would actually make an appearance.

It's probably safe to assume that the possibility of Nimoy appearing on Star Trek 3 will be based on Nimoy's health conditions during the time filming will start, whether or not he agrees to reprise his role and if writers will actually include him in the script.

Star Trek fans are eagerly awaiting Nimoy's return on the big screen but let's just all hope that he gets a speedy recovery soon. Live long and prosper, Mr. Leonard Nimoy!
