Said woman was found at around 2 p.m. Korean Standard Time and was immediately rushed to a local hospital, but passed away eventually.
The woman was later identified as Ahn, 22, a former trainee of DSP Media.
Police are looking into the case and have come to the conclusion that Ahn jumped from the 10th floor of the apartment.
The police also made it clear to the media that they have not found a suicide note.
"A suicide note was not found, so we would like to ask people to refrain from exaggerated reports as well as guess work," the authorities stated.
Sources stated that the female trainee had been suffering from depression as of late, which the authorities have counted as a factor to support their suicide theory.
Later today, February 25, the police have issued an official statement to the media, stating that they have concluded their investigation and have stuck to their theory that Ahn committed suicide.
"We did not find any traces of evidence that would suggest that it was something other than suicide," the authorities said in their official statement.
They have also cited that Ahn's family is having a difficult time and have expressed their wish to send her off in peace. The police have also revealed that Ahn will not be subjected to autopsy.
Ahn's wke is said to be set up yesterday, February 23, and that her family has decided to cremate her remains.
Ahn Seojin has made a name for herself through DSP Media's 'KARA Project'.
The trainee was featured as one of the aspiring KARA members and has been under the talent outfit for five years until the dissolution of her contract in January.
