Kanye West joked about his wife, telling the crowd on his speech at the BET awards that she just loves black guys.

The best-selling hip hop artist also talked about his married life to the woman who is "not of color," touching the topic of interracial relationships, causing the audience to laugh out loud.

West, who is also a popular fashion designer, the man behind the famous Gold Digger track, mocked women who date guys just because they got lots of money.

He also joked that people shouldn't judge Kim for dating a rich black man because she "has dated broke black dudes, so it ain't got nothing to do with money." 

Kim, who was among the audience, gave a rather embarrassed laugh but still looked mesmerized by her hubby.

Kim, meanwhile, has had a long list of black boyfriends, ranging from songwriter Damon Thomas, singer Nick Cannon, musician Fonzworth Bentley and singer Marquis Houston to American football player Miles Austin and Detroit Lions' Reggie Bush.

However, it seemed that it was actually Kim's controversial relationship with 'Love and Hip Hop: Hollywood star Ray-J that Kanye hit. Kim and Ray-J's relationship was made infamous by their sex tape.

Then, there's also Kanye's admiration to Kim's father, Robert Kardashian, who gained fame from keeping O.J. Simpson behind bars.

Kanye retold the story that Kim told him about Robert at the height of the O.J. Simpson trial. He recalled how her father "walked out and on the side of his Bentley" with protesters calling him "N*gger Lover".

Kanye retold that Kim never "saw her father curse, get mad; he was the most laidback human being." He also recalled that Robert told Kim: "'One day, you may have a black child. A beautiful, beautiful, beautiful black child. And it's going to be hard. You're going to see how hard it is.'"

Kanye then said something about racism. "The 'micro' of it is we focus on the different races as opposed to the 'macro,' which is the human race," he said.
