Parents now have a new way to keep their kids busy! According to USA Today, Netflix is currently expanding its list of children's TV shows after acquiring the U.S. rights to the reboot of Inspector Gadget, which already aired in Europe.

Previously a cartoon in the 1980s and a live-action movie featuring Matthew Broderick in 1999, the Inspector Gadget reboot features a lot of new technology and of course, a fresh 3-D animated look for all of its cartoon characters.

The 26 episodes of the cartoon are expected to debut in March on the U.S. version of Netflix, while the premiere dates for foreign Netflix territories will be announced at a future date.

Regarding the impact of the show on children, Netflix's vice-president of global independent content, Erick Barmack, said that, "We think that kids are going to love the show," and continued to say that they expect adults to watch it as well, as there is a generation of parents who grew up watching the original Inspector Gadget.

More good news for children or for people who grew up in '80s, as well as in the '90s, as that is not all that Netflix has in store for them. The streaming media just also recently announced that the remake of Danger Mouse, a British cartoon about a secret agent, crime-fighting rodent, is scheduled to premiere in Spring 2016.

On top of that, Netflix is also working on updated versions of Popples and The Magic School Bus.
