Baby KARA’s Sojin Just Recently Terminated Her Contract with DSP Before Committing Suicide

Following the tragic news of Baby KARA Sojin's suicide, several Korean news outlets have reported that the aspiring singer and dancer is no longer under the wing of DSP media.
On Wednesday, the entertainment company, DSP Media issued a formal statement, saying that they just recently heard the shocking news about Sojin's death and are doing everything that they can for her family.

They also revealed that, "Sojin had recently terminated her contract with DSP," and asked the media, as well as the people to refrain from making assumptions as the family is having a really difficult right now.
Sojin was well known to be a really fun and bright young woman. She was pursuing her dream to become a successful K-Pop singer. She trained for five years with DSP media and was one of the seven contestants of the KARA Project vying to be one of the members the famous Korean girl group called KARA.
Fans clearly remember Sojin's very optimistic attitude especially in one interview where she said that having fun is her motto. "The moments that seem hard to endure and tiring later turn into happy memories," Sojin said.
After her contract with DSP was terminated, Sojin was said to have returned back home to Daejun, Daedukgu.
Sojin was found on Tuesday in the garden of her apartment building, unconscious. She was immediately rushed to the hospital, but was sadly declared dead on arrival.
