Hong Kong actor Lawrence Ng is said to be drowning his sorrows by gambling after being spotted at different casinos for three consecutive days just recently.
The veteran actor is speculated to have suffered low morale following his controversial divorce with his wife, Mainland Chinese actress Shi Yang Zi in October last year. Ng has then returned to Hong Kong to resume work, but is said to have been spotted gambling at different venues for three days straight.

According to media reports, the 50-year old actor was spotted at the casino in Wynn Macau Hotel last month. Sources stated that after Ng won a huge sum of money, he allegedly transferred to a table which accepts bigger wagers. The actor is said to have eventually lost all the chips he has accumulated. Out of anger, the actor reportedly threw his cards.
In addition, even as he spotted other gamblers snapping photos of him, Ng did not seem bothered and continued to gamble until around 4 AM.
On the second day of his alleged three-day gambling spree, Ng is said to have returned to Hong Kong where he headed straight to a seafood restaurant. Media reports claim that the actor played mahjong in a function room. Ng reportedly left said mahjong room at around midnight.
The next day, the 'Tomorrow is Another Day' star is said to have attended an event before going to yet another venue to play mahjong.
After news of his gambling spread, sources have revealed that Ng was born in a family of gamblers. The same source claimed that Ng and his older brother began gambling at a young age.
The actor has not given his comments regarding the issue.
During the final quarter of 2014, Ng and Shi announced to the media that they will be filing for divorce, stating that they have agreed to the matter amicably.
