Chinese businessmen have long been dominating the Asian and global business scenes for years but the latest "50 Powerful Businesswomen in Asia" list released by Forbes showed that Chinese businesswomen are also leading Asia.

China's powerful businesswomen include Maggie Wu and Lucy Peng, two of Chinese e-commerce giant Alibaba's top female decision-makers.
Wu is Alibaba's Chief Financial Officer and the driver of the online giant's mammoth initial public officer in the US.
Peng, meanwhile, is a cofounder of Alibaba and the woman behind the fast growing Ant Financial, the financial services arm of Alibaba, Forbes Asia said.
The list of powerful Chinese businesswomen also includes Cheng Xue, the vice chairman of Foshan Haitian Flavoring and Food, the the largest manufacturer of soy sauce in the world, and Jean Liu, President of popular Chinese taxi-hailing app Didi Dache.
China is followed by India in this year's list with six businesswomen. Thailand has five while Singapore and the Philippines have four and three businesswomen on the list, respectively.
For the first time, the Forbes' list includes businesswomen from Mongolia and Myanmar.
The selection of Asia's powerful businesswomen did not come easy. According to Forbes Asia, to be included in the list, the businesswoman should be active in the upper echelons of the business world in Asia, must wield significant power and should have access to robust financial resources.
Forbes earlier said Beijing continues to top the list of Chinese cities with the largest number of billionaire residents. The Chinese capital has 67 billionaires.
The capital is followed by Shenzhen with 44, Shanghai with 38, Hangzhou, the residence of Alibaba Group Chairman Jack Ma, with 25 and Hong Kong with 20.
Taking the sixth to 10th spots are Guangzhou, Chengdu, Chongqing, Nanjing and Ningbo.
