The Los Angeles County District Attorney's Office will be charging him for throwing eggs at a home in Prado del Grandios, Calabasas on Jan. 9. The damages amounted to US $20,000 which qualifies the case as felony.

Bieber was also ordered to pay US$80,000 in damages, serve five days of community service and attend an anger management program.

The Grammy-nominated pop star, however, will not be present at his arraignment at the Superior Court in Van Nuys, according to DAW spokeswoman Jane Robison.

Last January 14, authorities searched the singer's Calabasas mansion and later on, detectives filed a search warrant to gain access to images on Bieber's Instagram account, which led to evidence that matched the surveillance footage of the incident.

According to a report written by a detective assigned to the egg-throwing case, Bieber was seen giving high-fives to his friends after throwing eggs at a neighbor's home. Unfortunately, the actual egg throwing incident was not seen on footage.

Although he was not arrested on the day that the search was conducted, Xavier Dominique Smith, his personal manager, was arrested for a drug possession felony. An aspiring rap artist who goes by the name Lil Za, Smith later on pleaded no contest to drug possession of ecstacy and was sentenced to probation and drug rehabilition treatment.

Apart from this charge, Bieber was also arrested in Miami last Jan. 23 for driving under the influence, driving without a valid license and resisting arrest by local authorities. In Toronto six days later, police arrested him on suspicion of assaulting a limousine driver in December.
