The View host Rosie O'Donnell is officially and legally ending her marriage with her wife Michelle Rounds after she filed for divorce, court records can reveal.

Rumors have it that there's a rather nasty fight between the two, although O'Donnell have already filed for an uncontested divorce, a sign that both parties are for an amicable deal.

O'Donnell already considered her marriage with Michelle Rounds as "irretrievably broken" and the celebrity already filed the divorce documents Friday in a Manhattan court, Yahoo has confirmed.

The couple were married in New York in 2012, but separated last November.

The 52-year-old host quit her talk show earlier this month, citing the split as the reason.  Her rep also told Daily News that the TV star decided to put "her personal health and family first" before her career, considering that she "has teens and an infant at home that need her attention.

O'Donnell also said that the public will eventually find out about her break up, so she decided to tell all about the divorce proceeding anyway.

"It's been since Thanksgiving. People are not idiots. I don't want to lie and fabricate," she said.

O'Donnell explained that she believed it's really important to leave The View because the "stress is very bad for heart attack survivors . . ."

O'Donnell split from her first wife, Kelli Carpenter, in 2007, after three years of marriage.

O'Donnell and 42-year-old Rounds adopted a daughter they named Dakota shortly after their marriage. They agreed to share custody after their split.
