Sandra Ng revealed that her secret to success and luck in her life and career was her devout and religious faith to the Buddhist figure, Ji Gong, for over 20 years now. Sandra never fails to visit the Ji Gong temple in Shueng Wan, praying that it would help her surmount the difficulties and hardships in her life, as well as strengthen her relationship with director Peter Chan.

Ng and Chan have been together for 18 years and their only daughter is already eight years old. Nevertheless, the two hasn't yet married. They keep their relationship open and Sandra even dismissed rumors of Peter's relationship with Mainland actress Tian Pujun.
Sandra even joked: "It doesn't matter since his heart and finances belong to me!"
Nevertheless, while Sandra has managed to put up a seemingly serene and undisturbed facade inside, it couldn't be denied that she's breaking inside. Her only source of peace and hope, so far, is her prayers to Ji Gong.
So far, Sandra's relationship with Peter is stable and Tian Pujun has already ended her 10-year relationship with Peter.
Sandra, meanwhile, consistently donates $5400 HKD a year to the temple.
Their relationship may have been plagued by issues and scandal, yet, Sandra is still not yet ready for marriage, saying that they've been planning to get married for over 15 years now and yet they still haven't tied the knot.
"It's been so many years already - we'll probably not think about the idea [of marriage] again!" she said.
Aside from her peaceful personal life, Sandra's career also remains on the high. Aside from being a multi-nominated actress, Sandra has also produced box office hits, like Golden Chicken Sss and 12 Golden Ducks.
