Madonna Hacking Suspect Indicted

Adi Lederman, the wanna-be  Israeli singer, who was nabbed after allegedly and illegally accessing Madonna's computer leading to the leak of the soundtrack of her new album, Rebel Heart, has been finally indicted on hacking charges.

Lederman was arrested in Tel Aviv in January after a joint crackdown by FBI and Israeli authorities have been conducted to make the culprit pay for the crime.

The hacking incident caused the pop legend to prematurely release her album online.

Lederman, 39, had joined Israel's talent search for singers, A Star Is Born. He is now facing charges of computer trespassing, prohibited secret monitoring, copyright infringement and obstructing an investigation. But this is not the first time that Lederman has hacked online. He is also accused of trespassing into different private cloud and email accounts, one of which owned by Madonna's manager Guy Oseary.

Court documents also show that he is also responsible for leaking Madonna's track, Give Me All Your Luvin' Back in 2012.

The pop legend thanked Israeli police for tracking down and arresting Lederman.

Police said the suspect was also responsible for hacking the personal computers of other artists, but did not provide further details about the other victims.

"I am profoundly grateful to the FBI, the Israeli Police investigators and anyone else who helped lead to the arrest of this hacker," Madonna posted on her Facebook page.

"I deeply appreciate my fans who have provided us with pertinent information and continue to do so regarding leaks of my music. Like any citizen, I have the right to privacy. This invasion into my life - creatively, professionally, and personally remains a deeply devastating and hurtful experience, as it must be for all artists who are victims of this type of crime," her online statement continued.
