"The Order: 1886," developed by Ready at Dawn, is a PlayStation 4 game released Feb. 20 that transports players to an alternate London timeline.

In The Order, gamers will play Sir Galahad, one of the Knights of the Order in Victorian age London.  In contrast to the Victorian era we know, the alternate one is a city under siege from rebels.

The deadliest threat the Order has to face comes from the Lycans, an ancient race of powerful wolf half-breeds.  The Order and Lycans have been mortal enemies engaged in several centuries of warfare.

Luckily, the gamer and his fellow knights are armed with the latest weapons this timeline has to offer. To combat the human rebels and the half-breed Lycans, gamers will use weapons designed by Nikolai Tesla himself.

Sir Galahad will battle his enemies using state of the art weapons and equipment like the Arc Gun, Thermite Rifle and Monocular Weapons. Since sheer brute force isn't enough to achieve victory, gamers will also need stealth to outwit and defeat both human and half-breed enemies.

According to the game's story, the Lycans are humans that have developed genetic traits different from normal humans. It didn't take long for half-breeds and humans to fight each other for dominance.

The Knights of the Round Table, later called as "The Order," was formed in to lead humanity's fight against the Lycans. While the Knights are humans, they have a powerful potion called the Blackwater to help them fight toe to toe against the Lycans' supernatural strength. 

Blackwater can heal wounds and even extend the life of the Knights.

The Order is noted for its success in introducing an intriguing story and combining it with a live action game.
