Charmayne Maxwell Of Brownstone Dies After Mysterious Fall

Charmayne Maxwell, member of the 1990s R&B Band Brownstone, died due to massive bleeding from a wound in her neck, which was caused by a mysterious fall in her Los Angeles home last Saturday, according to a family member who confirmed the news, NY Daily News reports.
Charmayne Maxwell was 46 years old.

The singer was married to Danish producer Carsten Schack and the couple settled down in Los Angeles.
The 46 year old singer's death happened after attending her son's soccer game. The death was apparently caused by a fall, according to a Danish media news website.
Family members revealed that her husband found her unconscious and bleeding from a gash in her neck at 9 in the evening.
Charmayne still had a pulse and was immediately transported to the Cedars Sinai Hospital. She was declared dead on arrival due to massive loss of blood, according to TMZ.
The Los Angeles Police Department immediately went over to the singer's home to investigate the incident. They found a shard of wine glass was the cause of the singer's neck wound, no foul play was suspected.
"She died in the most terrible way," says her brother Brandon Maxwell through the social media site Twitter.
"I'm so devastated because you deserved to stay on this Earth much longer," he further added.
Brandon also clarified rumors of his sister hinting at suicide in her Twitter account right before her death.
"Bad things happen to the most innocent people," Brandon clarified via social media.
Brownstone was one of the popular female R&B groups in the 1990s. They were signed under Michael Jackson's MJJ music label and produced the 1995 hit, "If You Love Me"
Brownstone earned a Billboard Music Award and a Grammy nomination for their hit song.
