News about EXO's Tao leaving SM Entertainment first started surfacing on Weibo, a popular Chinese social networking website.

While it's true that Tao is now one of the actors featured in the upcoming movie version of My Sunshine, no formal statement has been released regarding Tao's departure from his agency or his alleged transfer to Huayi Brothers.

Fellow actor Huang Xiaoming's manager clarified the rumors and simply said that false news can be "sold as widely-spread news", adding that it seems like a certain organization has plans. He also suggested that they should just "quietly film a good movie" and tagged Tao and his Xiaoming in his post.

He then followed his post up with a photo showing a Chinese character that meant "go away."

37-year old Huang Xiaoming, who stars alongside Tao in the upcoming movie, is working for the Huayi Brothers and is allegedly the person responsible for paving the way for Tao get a contract in China.

Tao and Xiaoming are getting really close lately. Not only did they spend a lot of time together in China, but when Huang and his girlfriend Angelababy visited Korea, Tao toured them around and accompanied them.

While there has been now news about Tao's alleged "contract nullficiation," it is reported that his boy band EXO is gearing for their comeback and is expected to debut their new song at their EXO PLANET  #2-The EXO'luXion concert.

My Sunshine is set to premiere on May 1.
