Mainland Chinese actress Fan Bingbing tried to evade the media's questions about the true nature of her relationship with actor Li Chen by hiding under the table cloth during a press conference she has attended for 'The Empress of China'.
Fan is said to have attended the celebratory press conference for her latest drama, 'The Empress of China', which has proved itself a hit among viewers in China despite the issue surrounding its delayed airing in December last year.

The 33-year old actress' fellow stars in the drama, including Janine Chan, Kathy Chow and Zhang Ting, made an appearance at the event with the exception of Li Chen, who is rumored to be in a real-life romantic relationship with her.
Li's absence then led to speculations that he did not attend the event on purpose in order to divert attention front the rumors, which claim that they are dating.
A day before the press conference, news about the pair's being spotted spending time together in Shanghai surfaced, fueling previous rumors of their supposed romance.
Her co-star Zhang Ting, who was also the host at the event, asked Fan, "Why did you become so pretty lately? Did something happen?"
The actress, who portrayed the character of Blink in the Hollywood film 'X-Men: Days of Future Past', was said to have felt embarrassed by Zhang's question.
In turn, Fan used Aarif Lee, her co-star and also her rumored boyfriend, as a shield to the other question.
After the news conference, Fan was bombarded with questions by the media, mostly about her alleged date with Li during Valentine's Day.
The actress merely smiled at the reporters and evaded the questions.
The insistent media personnel then drove the actress to hide under the table cloth.
Eventually, Fan was escorted out of the venue by her manager.
