The Galaxy S6 and Galaxy S6 Edge, the latest smartphones from Samsung, are being compared after they were officially announced at the Mobile World Congress 2015.

After all the speculation, Samsung finally showed the world these smartphones are real and are to be available soon. First, the good news is that both new Samsung phones have fewer pre-installed apps.

Starting with the Samsung Galaxy S6, this model has a 5.1 inch Quad High Definition Super AMOLED screen display with a resolution of 2560×1440.

On the other hand, the Galaxy S6 Edge also has 5.1 inch Quad HD Super AMOLED display at 577 pixels per inch.

The Galaxy S6 Edge sports a curved-edge Corning Gorilla Glass 4 screen, which gives an exceptional viewing experience different from any other smartphones. Both devices are made of high quality metal and glass that give the "beyond-compare" appearance Samsung is famous for.

The S6 and S6 Edge will be running on Android Lollipop and will equipped with 16 MP rear- camera and a 5 MP front snapper. Camera features include Quick Launch, Tracking AF, Auto Real-time HDR (front and rear), High Clear Zoom, Virtual Shot, Slow and Fast Motion plus Selective Focus.

As Samsung has been criticized for its phones' limited battery life, they finally came up with a solution: built-in wireless charging for both units.

The S6 and S6 Edge are expected to be fast machines equipped as they are with Quad 2.1GHz + Quad 1.5GHz, Octa-core processors and 3 GB RAM LPPDR4.

The price for Galaxy S6 Edge varies depending on its memory. A 64 GB phone will cost US$1050 while a 128 GB costs around US$1150. 

The Galaxy S6 Edge will be available in white pearl, black sapphire, gold platinum, blue topaz and green emerald.

On the other hand, the Galaxy S6 price hasn't been revealed but it's expected that consumers will have to shell out US$649 for the 32 GB; US$749 for 64 GB, and US$849 for the 128 GB model.
