Back in 2009, the business magazine has created 'Korea Power Celebrity 40', which is a list that shows the ranks of influential celebrities in the country.
The magazine has been publishing the same list annually since then.
According to media reports, 150 candidates have been chosen for the 2015 edition of the list, based on hits the celebrities have gained on famous search portals in Korea, including Daum Kakao, last year.
From the original 150 candidates, it was reduced to 40 candidates based on four major criteria - media coverage, TV appearances, expertise and income.
EXO landed on the top spot, moving four places higher after making their debut on the list at fifth place just last year, an impressive feat for a rookie group.
Furthermore, according to sources, the group, amidst the controversies surrounding them, is the only celebrity group that was able to make it to the top 10 of each of the four categories for this year's list.
The group is quite young, only three years in the business, and yet has already received big endorsement deals, including an ad campaign for the luxury brand MCM.
Another report said every product EXO that has endorsed experienced boost in sales.
On the one hand, other celebrities who made it to the list are actor Kim Soo Hyun and Olympic figure skater Kim Yuna, who landed on the second the third places, respectively.
EXO is said to be gearing up for their second solo concert, 'EXO Planet 2 - The EXO'luXion', which will be held at the Seoul Olympic Park Gymnastics Arena on March 7 and 8 for the first part and on March 13 to 15 for the three-day second part.
