"Shocked"-The reaction with which Rihanna responded with when she found about the news that her ex-boyfriend Chris Brown is reportedly a father to a 9-month old baby girl.

Given the long and at some point, complicated history between Rihanna and Chris, it's natural to hear reports that she was shocked about the news. Chris allegedly has a 9-month old child with a 31-year old model he's known for years.

An insider revealed to Hollywood Life that Rihanna had to read the news several times to let it sink in, but despite having a difficult past with Chris, the 27-year old said that "if it's true, Chris will be a good father and take care of his little girl." 

It's a very mature response from Riri, who filed an assault case against Chris in 2009. And while she is shocked about the news, apparently she thinks that Chris is up for the task of raising a child. 

The source added that Rihanna knows it's a big responsibility, which will require a whole lot of work, love and energy, but "she wishes him all the best in this new and very important chapter in his life." 

And while she is happy for her ex, Rihanna is reportedly thanking everyone and everything that she is not the one in this kind of situation. 

It's no secret that things ended badly between the former lovebirds but it's nice to hear that she's wishing her ex well and that she's happy for him, if of course, the reports are true.
