Good News for "Metal Gear" fans as the newest installment of the franchise -- "Metal Gear V: The Phantom Pain" -- is set to launch Sept. 1.

Konami shared a bit of information about the "Day One Edition" and the "Collector's Editions". In addition, they've officially announced on their twitter account the PC version of "Metal Gear V: The Phantom Pain" will be available on Steam, live on Sept. 15.

Here's more about the contents of the added special editions. The "Collector's Edition" has more to offer than "Day One Edition," said reports.

The Collector's Edition will include the half-scale replica of Snake's bionic arm, collectible steelbook, and more DLC items such as Windurger S333 combat special revolver, Adam-ska special handgun, Maschinen taktische pistole, 5 Weiss special handgun, a lot of ballistic shields and Snake's costumes with different colors available, XP boost and a Behind-the Scene and Blu-ray Disc trailers.

All of these DLC contents will also be accessible to the PC version.

"Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain'' is a multiplayer game set in a far-off area of Afghanistan and some areas from Africa. Actor Kiefer Sutherland was hired as Snake's voice actor, but Kojima said Snake will be quieter than all of the previous releases.

According to Kojima, "MGS 5: The Phantom Pain" is the continuation of "Metal Gear Solid V: Ground Zeroes;" will consolidate all the game series, and will be the last episode.

The "Metal Gear Solid" game, first launched in 1998 for PlayStation, is an action-adventure stealth video game by Kojima Productions.

After its huge success with more than six million copies sold worldwide, Konami released expansion versions developed for all Microsoft Windows PC, PlayStation 3, PlayStation 4, Xbox 360 and Xbox One.
