At a press conference held on Tuesday to promote his new album called "Whatever I Just Believe In," Taiwanese singer-songwriter and actor Shin publicly announced that he and his girlfriend Wei Wei are planning to settle down sometime next year either in Monte Carlo or Rome.
Shin, who seemed to be in the spirit of sharing, much to the delight of reporters, divulged more stories and revealed that Wei Wei is personally handling their finances. In fact, the 43-year old singer even registered his wife-to-be's name in four out of five properties he purchased in Taiwan to give her a sense of security. Shin's properties are reportedly worth more than NT$200 million or US$6 million.

"Wedding March," a track off of his new album, is about a man who gets mixed feelings about giving up his single life. When he was asked by reporters whether Wei Wei was unhappy with the song, Shin simply said that his girlfriend does not think about it too much, explaining that she fully understands that it's simply part of his work.
The popular singer is said to be ready to part ways with his womanizing image and become a dutiful husband. Shin said that when men experience so many different things, at some point they stop and think whether there's meaning in continuing a superficial and irresponsible lifestyle, before finally saying that, "From the heart, I want to settle down."
He also revealed the great relationship his daughter Xiao Wan, 14, has with her soon-to-be stepmother. The happy father, who looked excited to tie the knot, gleefully shared that her daughter is pretty close to Wei Wei.
