Bruce Jenner's journey to become a woman may officially start this summer.

The former Olympian and gold medalist is finally back on track after temporarily postponing his treatments and sessions with his therapist following a fatal car crash last month, which he was involved in.

According to Radar Online, Bruce has been visiting his therapist more frequently these past few weeks to fully prepare himself for his sex change surgery scheduled this summer.

A source close to the 65-year old reality star said that "The therapy was required by the doctor that will be performing Bruce's sex change operation," and revealed that the therapy has greatly helped Bruce.

Another insider revealed that the sex change operation was initially scheduled at an earlier date, but was postponed because of the vehicular accident.

A lot of people has reached out to Bruce after news of the accident broke out, but unexpectedly, they also reached out to express their support for Bruce's decision to transition. 

The insider said that people who Bruce has not been in communication with in forever started reaching out to him as he went through his grieving process, but surprisingly, they also made him know that they totally support his choice to become a woman.

However, despite transforming into a woman, Bruce revealed that he still wants to date women. Just recently, he was spotted with an unidentified woman in Beverly Hills on Thursday on what seems like a casual dinner date.

Bruce, who seems to be extremely ready for his sex change, isn't keeping his plans a secret. In an episode of the upcoming "Keeping Up with the Kardashians" season 10, Bruce reportedly asked two things from his famous daughters.

One is to stop calling him "Bruce" and instead call him with the new name he chose and two is to respond with "Bruce is in a very good and happy place," when reporters and paparazzi ask them questions about him.
