Being the only son of a famous international movie star like Jackie Chan surely has its privileges. Jackie's son, Jaycee Chan has lived a luxurious life. He lived in mansions, drove expensive cars, received the best education, and many more. But what many might not know is, Jackie is a disciplinarian, who once said that he will not leave a single penny of his wealth to his son.

When asked whether he will leave his entire fortune to his son, two years ago, he said, "If my son is capable, he will earn his own money. If he is incapable, he will waste my money."
However, after Jaycee was released from prison following his drug arrest, his father seems to have developed a softer side for him. In a recent interview, Jackie proudly said that he was impressed by Jaycee's transformation after serving half a year in jail. Jackie revealed that Jaycee shows a lot more discipline now and voluntarily helps his mom with the chores that needed to be done at home.
In the past few weeks, Jackie was spotted giving Jaycee a haircut to symbolize a new beginning. It was during that time when Jackie mentioned that the relationship between them is definitely better. He is now able to have long talks with his son, unlike in the past where they barely spoke a word to each other because they only end up arguing in the rare occasions that they do.
When asked the same question regarding his wealth, Jackie seemed to have changed his mind and replied, "If I don't leave my [wealth] to him, who do I give it to? Everything will be left to him. He is my son and I am his father. That will never change."
Jackie may also be seen working alongside his son, as he accepted a request from Jaycee who asked if he could work on the script of the sequel of the action film "CZ12."
