TVB Actor Lau Dan Clarifies Speculation Of 'Troubled Relationship' With Daughter-In-Law Yang Mi

Lau Dan, one of three leads in the TVB drama 'Come Home Love' appeared at an event along with costars Samantha Ko and Lokyi Lai appeared at an event to promote their TV series.
This also gave an opportunity for the veteran actor to clarify speculation regarding his so-called troubled relationship with his daughter-in-law, actress Yang Mi who allegedly prevented him from seeing his granddaughter 'Sticky Rice' during the Lunar New Year Holiday, according to Jaynestars News.

"They made those arrangements because Yang Mi has to accommodate her great grandparents,who are based in Beijing. That is the real reason why I could not see them in Hong Kong during that period," says Lau Dan, who emphasized that there was absolutely no truth to the widespread gossip since his son and daughter spent the New Year in Beijing.
"She is very gentle and polite to us. My son married a good wife and cannot understand all the criticism targeted at her. She is also frequently making self-deprecatory remarks when ppearing on variety programs. How can you say that she has a bad temper?" Lau Dan further explained emphatically in the event.
Lau Dan emphasized that Yang Mi was not a bad daughter in law.
Also known as Danny Lau in English Name, Lau Dan is one of the best actors noted to portray the role Hong Qi Gong in The Legend Of The Condor Heroes and Return Of the Condor Heroes.
Lau Dan is known to portray good characters but he can be versatile with playing cunning and villain roles.
He has only one son, former TVB actor Hawick Lau, who married actress Yang Mi and they bore one child together.
