Coffee doesn't seem to perk up the "Insurgent" star nowadays. Currently promoting the second film of the "Divergent" franchise, Shailene Woodley prefers doing push ups as coffee cannot keep her awake anymore.
In an interview with BBC Radio, she said, "It didn't wake me up anymore, It was giving me the opposite effect. You become immune; I was past the immune part, I can drink a cup of coffee and I'm like, When's nap time?" In their bid to stay fit and awake, she and her co-stars started to do some squats where she literally tore her pants so they decided to do push ups instead.

The push ups were said to be their alternative to drinking coffee and quite frankly, the "Insurgent" star felt comfortable about it. Being physically fit has helped her adapt to the action packed movie, where a five minute intensive running scene is usually filmed every month.
Asked whether she was afraid to do some of the scenes, she said, "You're guaranteed safety because if anything goes wrong, someone will get in a lot of trouble, so everyone goes out of their way to make sure you're safe."
Woodley was recently interviewed about speculations that she turned down the role for "Fifty Shades of Gray" and she wasn't shy about telling the truth about why she passed on the audition.
Apparently, Woodley has already signed to "Divergent" and there is no way she can commit to two franchises at the same time.
According to Gossip Cop, Woodley expressed her admiration for Jennifer Lawrence when she gave her quirky advice on the importance of staying simple and keeping things on a low profile manner. Although the two haven't met in person, Woodley was quick to say, "I thought, I'm gonna love this chick when I meet her."
