The Apple Watch was first announced in September 2014 and will hit Apple Stores this April. This wearable gadget will be released in 38 mm and 42 mm sizes. 

Apple Watch will also have three models: Apple Watch Sports, Apple Watch, Gold Edition.

The Apple Watch Sports has a glass face while the body is made of aluminum. Retail price is around $349 USD.

The middle range model has a sapphire face and a body made of stainless steel.  Retail price for this model is around $599.

The most expensive by far is the 18-karat Gold Edition.  Retail price starts at a whopping US$10,000. 

Despite having three models, the Apple Watch sports basically has the same look. The software that runs the Apple Watch is another matter.

The digital crown located on the upper right side of the watch will take you to the home screen where you can choose an app. You can also swipe up the face glass from the bottom to go to Glances.

Glances will give you a quick view of all the apps inside the Apple Watch. You may want to click the icon of the app that you want to use. Afterwards, you'll exit Glances and move right into the screen of the app.

The communications button is located below the digital crown. This button will take you to your contacts screen or use it to send messages. This tech watch also has the Digital Touch feature that allows friends to send taps, drawings and even heartbeats to one another.

Using Digital Touch, however, will require the use of new user interfaces (UI). For example, to draw a doodle will require the use of a single finger. To send a heartbeat will require you to hold down two fingers and so on.
