Intel's XMM 7360 LTE modem recently debuted at the Mobile World Congress Press Conference. The modem has 450 Mbps (megabits per second) download speed; LTE Advanced Category 10; Voice over LTE with 3X carrier aggregation and worldwide band support. This makes this chip more efficient than Intel's previous LTE modems, the 7160 and 7260.

The 7360 chip is said to be compatible with wireless standards used by China Mobiles TD-SCDMA.  XMM 7360 LTE modem was confirmed to be shipped mid-year.

Specifications and features for the iPhone 7 will not be different from its predecessor, the iPhone 6. According to rumors on the internet, Force Touch technology will be included in the iPhone 7. This phone will still have an aluminum body but with have a sapphire screen display. It will run the iOS9.

Another speculation regarding Apple's next-generation smartphone is the iPhone 7's A9 processor will be supplied by Samsung and is expected to have a 14 nanometer design. As reported by Macworld, Samsung wants to become the manufacturer of Apple's chips again and have offered a very competitive price for the deal.

Although there's no official statement from Apple, it was speculated the iPhone 7 will follow its predecessors: iPhone 6 and iPhone 6 plus next year.
