One of the fitness gurus, who has been with the show for 10 years, left 'The Biggest Loser'. Jillian Michaels, the 40-year old familiar face, has announced that she will no longer be a part of the comeback season this fall.
NBC has confirmed this with a statement:
"After helping hundreds of contestants transform their lives and inspiring millions of viewers at home, The Biggest Loser and Jillian Michaels have decided to part ways and she will not be returning for season 16 when it airs in the fall."

This was announced last June and people thought that it was just temporary. Michaels left the show before when she got married but came back on the 14th season of the show in 2013. At first, she did not want to comment on the real reason of her leaving but in an interview with People Magazine, she finally admitted what prompted her to leave.
The fitness guru, who now has a four-year-old daughter and a two-year-old baby boy, has opened up and told the magazine she was concerned of her image that is why she left the show. Michaels said that there were fundamental differences between the producers of the show that have existed for the past months when she was still part of the show.
"In the beginning of the show, it was tough love. You saw the tough, and you saw the love. You saw none of the relationships, none of the bonds that I build with my clients," Michaels elaborated. The recent episodes show more of the tough parts which caused Michael's image and reputation to be tainted.
Michael says that due to this, millions of people have this warped negative perception of her. She is now a mom and no mom would like to be perceived as someone who is mean and too tough.
She also says that she wanted people to know the real reason because some fans think that Michael feels she is too big for the show or that she wants to look for better opportunities. She wanted to end the speculations and made it a point that she was very grateful to the show and that she is really very sad to leave.
The Fall Season of 'The Biggest Loser' premieres on October this year.
