The Android Market welcomes G3's follow-up, G FLEX 2, LG's fresh offering for 2015 with hopes of intimidating the South Korean chaebol's rivals, Samsung and Motorola, to name a few.

With G FLEX 2 being a high-end handset, LG isn't holding much back. And while it's best for techies to wait until the other mobile giants announce their flagships in the coming weeks at MWC 2015, it's clear that with the G Flex 2, LG will give its rivals a run for their money, CNET reported.

LG boasts that G FLEX 2, available on March 13 in the U.S via Sprint, was designed for those who crave distinction. Also comparing with its predecessor LG G3, which is built in plastic and IPS LCD screen type, G FLEX 2 is built with curved plastic and curved P-OLED screen type.

Pocketnow tallied the difference between LG G3 and LG G FLEX 2, giving the victory to the latter with four spec wins over two from the former, saying the G Flex 2 is an all-around better smartphone.

Customers can't really go wrong buying it over the G3 unless they're looking for a cheaper phone or one without the bendy display. Online reports continue to take note and praise the G FLEX 2's curve that conceals the phone's 5.5 inch display.

Behind all this, however, with the LG G3 available for a very good price in the market, and the LG G4 is certain to supersede the LG G Flex 2 on the spec front, Trusted Reviews says the LG G Flex 2 could find itself falling between two formidable stools -- another experimental oddity swamped by better conventional phones.
