The University of Kentucky Wildcats are the top overall seed in the National College Athletics Association (NCAA) tournament. The question on everyone's mind is can anyone beat the Wildcats?
One thing is for sure though, it will not be easy trying to beat the Wildcats. The top seed team is on its way to a six-game stride toward becoming the first unbeaten national champion team in 39 years of NCAA history.

All this comes without needing to travel more than five hours away from their home turf at any point during the tournament.
The Wildcats were the 19th team to enter the NCAA tournament with a perfect record. They will be opening tournament play in Louisville as a favorite to win their second national title in four seasons.
If they were to advance, they would cap the season off with a 40-0 record that would continue in Cleveland for the Midwest Regions and then, the Final Four in Indianapolis.
Sharing the number one spot with Kentucky are Villanova (east), Wisconsin (west), and Duke (south). Virginia lost two of its last three games and dropped to the number two seed.
The number two seeds were considered an elite group this past season. However, someone had to unfortunately be placed in the Wildcat's division that would set up a potential meet in the Elite Eight.
The team was the Kansas Jayhawks, who lost to Kansas by 32 points last November before pulling together and winning its 11th straight Big 12 Season title. Granted that the Jayhawks gets that far.
A second-round NCAA tournament matchup could take place in Omaha between number seven seed Wichita State and the Jayhawks.
The 10-team Big 12 received seven invitations; a testament to how good and how skilled the teams in the nation's strongest leagues are. Four of those teams, namely Kansas, Iowa State, Baylor, and Oklahoma, earned three sounds of higher.
