Edward Snowden will Speak Via Live Video at the CeBIT 2015

(Photo : CeBIT) China has been chosen as the official Partner Country for the CeBIT in Hanover, Germany
Edward Snowden, the best-known former NSA agent, will be present remotely at this year's CeBIT Global Conferences in Hanover, Germany, for a live interview.
The interview will take place on the center stage on Wednesday, March 18.
CeBIT is the largest computer expo in the world. It's held annually at the world's largest fairground and attracts more than 850,000 visitors.

Glenn Greenwald, the lawyer and investigative journalist known for originally publishing Snowden's findings, will also be joining the CeBIT Global Conferences personally.
Snowden will speak via remote video link from Russia, his place of exile. The discussion will be moderated by Brent Goff, news anchor of Germany's international broadcaster Deutsche Welle TV.
Topics expected to be covered for this event include data security, encryption and privacy. Other highlights will cover key topics such as the big data & cloud, digital transformation, Internet of Things (IoT), mobile, security and social business.

China has been chosen as the official Partner Country for the CeBIT in Hanover, Germany
China, being this year's official CeBIT Partner Country, has sent over 600 tech companies occupying 2,500 square meters of space to showcase their technologies and services.
These Chinese companies include telecom giant Huawei Technologies Co. Ltd.; computer manufacturing firm Lenovo Group Ltd.; e-commerce giant Alibaba Group Holding Ltd., and the world's third largest smartphone maker Xiaomi Inc., among many.
