Future Homes Will Need Just Need One Super-Bot

When it comes to future smart homes, fancy remote-controlled lighting and other connected devices aren't exactly what we need.
An advanced bot will do, instead. Well, at least, that's what iRobot's CEO Colin Angle believes.
These super-bots will minimize human intervention at home, drastically reducing human labor. With these bots, you won't have to take care controlling the lighting and cleaning the lights. The bots will also take calls for you and even reply by themselves.

Angle said a future home won't need different robots for different tasks. Instead, all these tasks could be orchestrated by a single bot.
Another reason why Angle believes that including all tasks into one robot is more efficient because it's cheaper.
A simple automatic light-switch system that turns lights on and off could be quite costly. It would make more sense to invest and work on one single device that could take care of everything.
Angle said the best bot, the iRobot, would be the kind that is almost invisible to the home owner. It should work all by itself without causing any distraction to the inhabitants of the future home.
