Apple, IBM to Tie Up in Offering New Service

Apple and IBM have become partners in offering consumers tailored iPhones and iPads.
On Tuesday, the two giant companies announced that they were to tie-up to offer special and customized iPhones and iPads.
The deal starts with IBM creating more than 100 business-focused apps, and then Apple will sell iPhones and iPads preloaded with special apps to various industries around the world.

Apple is aiming to boost its share on the market of mobile devices solely for businesses with this tie up with IBM.
The goal is to deliver the promise of enterprise mobile in a huge way.
This is a big leap for Apple as they are about to transform the enterprise mobile market by capitalizing the power of IBM Big Data analytics and popular products of Apple.
MobielFirst of IBM for iOS apps, which will arrive in early 2015, will be powered by IBM's cloud services while the devices will be take care of by AppleCare which is designed for enterprise.
“Apple and IBM’s shared vision for this partnership is to put in the hands of business professionals everywhere the unique capabilities of iPads and iPhones with a company’s knowledge, data, analytics and workflows,” said in a statement on the partnership of two companies.
Apple Inc. is creating new service and support which are customized to the needs of the enterprise and IBM manages the functions like security and device activation.
The two companies’ new offer for the enterprise will be visible on Apple's iOS 8.
The partnership will be a big win for Apple as IBM is a well-known company serving the the enterprise sector for years.
