Japanese company plan to build world’s largest robotic factory in China

According to Japan NHK website on June 22nd, as China manufacturing costs are rising rapidly, manufacturing industry starts introducing heavy duty industrial robots into workplaces. Yaskawa Electric Corporation is a Japanese manufacturer of servos, machine controllers, AC Motor drives, switches and robots. The company starts building the world's largest robotic factory in China. After built up, the factory will produce industrial robots manufacturers.
The factory will become the first robotic factory of Yaskawa Electric Corporation overseas. Yaskawa Electric invested about 4 billion yen (about 300 million RMB). The new factory will be built in Changzhou, Jiangsu Province in China. June 22nd, Jiangsu local government staff went to participate in the opening ceremony of the new factory.
The factory will have the world's largest production scale, and will use the latest equipment to produce heavy-duty industrial robots, which can be used in car manufacturing and many other areas. The production scale in the factory will reach 1000 robots per month in 2015.
In China, the manufacturing costs keep rising rapidly in the recent years. Industrial robots, which can take place of human beings, are in urgent need. Therefore, China will become the world's largest market for industrial robots.
Yaskawa Electric Corporation regards China as a very important market for manufacturing the heavy-duty industrial robots. Yaskawa Electric plans to expand its production output and scale in the future. The chairman of Yaskawa Electric Corporation said: "China's market has a great potential, we want to hold our ground in this field."
Japan's industrial robots are equally famous as European robots; both of them have a worldwide reputation. Many other Japanese companies are also planning to build new factories in Jiangsu Province.
