The singer-actress' message has then led to speculations that she has called it quits with the actor. Some sources even claimed that Kuo was allegedly the one who initiated the split since the 33-year old actor's family is said to be pressuring them to get married soon. Kuo allegedly disagreed and expressed that she feels it's too soon to settle down. Furthermore, Kuo reportedly decided to break up with the actor.
Kuo has not yet addressed the issue.
On the one hand, after the news of their split broke out, Yang immediately gave his response via his Weibo account on March 17, denying the claims. According to the actor, he and Kuo are still in a relationship, but he has also hinted that they are currently facing difficulties in their relationship.
On his post, he wrote, "As our work commitments have kept us separated from each other for close to six months, we are both facing some difficulties in this relationship." He also thanked their followers for their support and concern, and apologized for causing hubbub.
Yang has then assured his fans that he and his girlfriend are working hard to keep their relationship together.
The couple has been dating for more than a year now after announcing their relationship to the public back in 2013, following their joint project in the drama 'Turn Left, Turn Right'.
