Prince Charles, Duchess Camilla Back In The U.S. After A Decade

England's iconic royal couple has arrived in the United States after a decade-long last visit to promote the conservation of natural resources.
USA Today revealed that Prince Charles and Duchess Camilla made Washington, D.C. their first stop on Tuesday for their four day American visit.The royal couple's itinerary also included a day out in Louisville, Kentucky.

The plane carrying the prince and the duchess touched down on the Andrews Air Force Base around 6:30 p.m. yesterday. From Andrews Air Force, the couple were whisked away to the home of Peter Westmacott, the British ambassador to Washington.
Charles and Camilla enjoyed a dinner reception with British embassy employees and press members at the ambassador's residence. CNN reported that Charles and Camilla were escorted by high-profile American public figures as they toured the U.S. capital.
Reverend Jesse Jackson, Congressman Terri Sewell and architectural specialist, Ed Jackson walked the royal couple around the Martin Luther King, Jr. memorial site. Martin Luther memorial project foundation CEO, Harry Johnson took the honors of showing the couple around this legendary multicultural historical site.
The pair also dropped by the Lincoln Memorial within the day in D.C., as reported by CBS Local Washington, D. C. Speaking in a D.C. environmental conference. Prince Charles expressed his advocacy for natural resources preservation.
BBC News reported that the price delivered a motivational speech urging governments and businesses everywhere to avoid filling the ocean with plastic trash.
Charles and Camilla are set to have a meeting with U.S. president Barack Obama come Thursday.
The royal couple was seen out and about in Mount Vernon, the home of the first U.S. president, George Washington.
Duchess Camilla was seen making her way to the Washington Shakespeare Theater Company while out on a solo tour.
Prince Charles remembered important historical days in America while on a visit at the National Archives. There, he browsed through the classic United States' Charters of Freedom and the Magna Carta 1297.
