Since finding fame and fortune as a world-renowned chef, Gordon Ramsay has owned over 15 Ferraris. And just last Sunday, he felt the need to add a new one to his collection and picked up his new LaFerrari worth over US$1.2 Million, immediately taking it for a spin.

The 48-year old chef looked extremely happy after buying the car, which is also owned by F1 driver Lewis Hamilton. The car is described by Top Gear as "much respected."

And where did the father of four go to for his first ride? Well, to school of course, to pick up his daughter Meg!

He shared a photo of the ride with a 6.3 liter V12 engine on his Instagram account and captioned it, "Holy Mackerel it's fast..." before letting his fans know that his first trip was to watch his daughter's Meg's netball and that it didn't take him long to get to his destination.

The electric car is said to be worth US$1.2 million without any customizations, and while it's unknown what other little touches Ramsay added to his extremely fast new car, he did boast about getting his notorious phrase "Done!" inscribed on the steering wheel.

Gordon, who is close friends with David and wife, Victoria Beckham, looked youthful and enthusiastic in a simple shirt and jeans combo and trainers. Just last week, it was reported that he tore his Achilles tendon and was since regularly seen wearing an ankle support, but the television star appeared comfortable and at ease.

After picking up his daughter, he also stopped by the luxurious hotel, Claridges, in his glitzy vehicle. He attracted a lot of onlookers who stopped to take photos of the chef, and possibly of the car as well, while Ramsay waved and smiled at them.

The LaFerrari is said to be a gift to himself after he was gifted a Ferrari 550 Maranello by his wife Tana after achieving the 3-star Michelin award.

Things are looking extremely well for the chef whose net worth is estimated to be at around $48 million. Not only does he have a new expensive car, but he is also scheduled to open his new venture in Singapore called "Bread Street Kitchen."
