Following her exit from "The View", Former Playboy model, best-selling author and anti-vaccination advocate Jenny McCarthy addressed issues about her short stint in the ABC daytime talk show.

McCarthy shared, "I'll tell you something Howard. It's like halfway into [my tenure on "The View"], it was probably around February, I went, 'God I'm not allowed to be the best of me here.' I feel like to have a voice, to be able to speak without having to interrupt people. ... It's very difficult, and I don't like doing it, it's very uncomfortable, so I felt like, 'You know what? Maybe this is just a stepping stone for me to go somewhere where I can actually be my full self."

Back in July 2013, McCarthy was taken in as a full-time host of "The View". However, less than a year later, the network announced that she would not be renewed for another season. Sherri Shephard was also let go.

Recently, ABC announced that one of the replacements would be Rosie O'Donnell, a former co-host of the show. O'Donnell continues to have ongoing friction with former co-host Elisabeth Hasselbeck, a staunch Republican.

"If I wanted to stay with Rosie and I was a Republican, I would still be there right now," McCarthy added.

She also shared that her upcoming nuptials with New Kids on the Block's Donnie Wahlberg won't be star-studded, and there won't be any seats reserved for most of her former colleagues.

McCarthy reiterated, "Sherri Shepherd will be the only one [celebrity invited] possibly if she can make it. I hate celebrities."

Although McCarthy didn't have a lot of good things to say about "The View" and some of its co-hosts, she did say that working with Barbara Walters was certainly an experience to remember.

McCarthy is set to host a weekly SiriusXM radio show entitled "Dirty, Sexy, Funny with Jenny McCarthy". The show airs every Wednesday at 6 pm ET.
