Zoe Saldana thinks that people should not misquote what the famous designers said about "Synthetic children" saying, "I do think, things are lost in translation."
According to Yahoo TV, apparently, the "Guardians of the Galaxy" star will not sacrifice her wardrobe choice just because of a misconstrued comment. She also expressed her thoughts, saying, the issue didn't have to be blown up straight up as people are entitled to their own opinion. "That would be the stupidest thing if it affected my fashion choice" says, Saldana.

She also shed light on the issue, saying, maybe it was mis-translated, just like how she knows her husband who's from Italy, saying "If I judge my husband based on the words that he misuses in our English language, he wouldn't be here today."
The Dolce & Gabbana issue started when Domenico Dolce was quoted saying, children are born from a mother and a father and he calls the children of chemistry "synthetic children," "rented wombs" and "semen chosen from a catalog." The comment drew hate reactions and even highly criticized by Hollywood celebrities. Although they issued a statement saying "it was not their intention to judge other people's choices," that didn't stop celebrity A - listers such as Elton John from starting a campaign that will boycott the product of the famous designers.
Jezebel quoted Saldana's reaction as a "laid back response to such hate speech." According to PEOPLE, despite the numerous number of celebrities criticizing the designers, D&G has not backed down on their beliefs and the controversial comments stated during the interview.
Gabbana initially though of Elton John's comments as "ignorant" but later issued a much more subdued apology statement where they addressed that it was never their intention to criticize any family's choice but merely stating what they actually believed in.
