Petting dragons, donning a blonde wig and stripping on HBO's most successful television series, Game of Thrones, proved to be an easy task for Emilia Clarke. But when she was asked to strip for Christian Grey, well, she passed.

28-year old English actress Emilia was once a frontrunner for Christian Grey's leading lady but passed on the role. She said that she has no regrets about not playing Anastasia Steele in Fifty Shades of Grey, which was an extreme hit in the box-office.

But why exactly did she turn down the role? "I'd done nudity before and was concerned with being labeled for doing it again," she explained to The Hollywood Reporter.

She further revealed that saying no was not difficult and confirmed that she met with the film's director Sam Taylor-Johnson twice, before finally deciding to give up on the project.

Emilia's role in GoT is one of the prominent roles in the series, which probably makes her feel confident in her decision to pass the role to someone else. With her blonde wig and rugged demeanor, she has gained so many fans for playing Queen Daenerys Targaryen, who not only leads her army throughout the Seven Kingdoms but also gives them an occasional flash along the way.

And while her chance to play Anastasia is long gone, she's going to be appearing on the big screen for another notable role-Terminator Genisys' Sarah Connor which is set to premiere on July 1. Her current boyfriend, Jai Courtney is her co-star on the latest installment of the Terminator.

Meanwhile, GoT's fifth season will premiere on April 12.
