Unsurprisingly, there's no official word yet as to when Apple will unveil the iPhone 7, but the history of iPhone launches suggests the device will appear at a special event in September.
If Apple sticks to its recognized tradition, the iPhone 7 will be arriving on shelves later that month. So, when is this "father of all iPhones" going to see the light of day?

If rumors are to be believed, the iPhone 7 will be released across the world in the third quarter of this year. If people look at the pattern of Apple's product lifecycles, this seems to be true since the company releases its devices in the third quarter, the iPhone7update blog added.
The iPhone 7 release date rumors are so rife and all over the web space that many people are planning to buy the anticipated smartphone and want to skip the current generation Apple phone completely.
Speculation suggests the iPhone 7 won't look much different from the iPhone 6 and 6 Plus based upon Apple's typical two-year cycle.
The iPhone 7 will allegedly feature the same Force Touch technology similar to Apple's first 12-inch MacBook, enabling a touch-sensitive surface to register pressure degrees, as well as movement.
The iPhone 7, which is speculated to be the first iPhone to launch with wireless charging, was also reported by Daring Fireball to have "the biggest camera jump the company has introduced."
The upcoming device will also carry a two-lens set-up, bringing it to the quality of digital SLR. It's also suggested Apple might use Sony's new 21 MP sensor for images, the Exmoor RS.
