The upcoming Tom Clancy open world third-person shooter role-playing video game, "The Division", received an Xbox One release date of Dec. 31 but no exact date was revealed for PS4 or PC.
After it was announced during Ubisoft's E3 2013 press conference, an initial release date for fall 2014 was confirmed by Ubisoft's top dog who said that The Division will arrive sometime "closer to the end of 2014."

It was finally made clear the game will be pushed back until 2015 for PlayStation 4, Xbox One and Microsoft Windows.
Rumors of The Division's delay appeared in January 2014 after comments made by an alleged Ubisoft massive developer stated development on the game had "barely started." The Ubisoft developer said it feels laughable that Ubisoft went public with a 2014 release date, adding they'll never be able to release The Division in 2014 as it's a large project.
Recent report said Ubisoft and a team of designers and developers are trying to channel the DNA of the classic Tom Clancy military-themed novels to this game.
Tom Clancy, who died in October 2013, is known for authoring best-selling books that revolve around espionage and military science.
Players will be taking on the role of agents for a secret group called The Division whose mission is to maintain peace and order following a pandemic that spread across New York.
Teaming up with the other Division agents, the mission of the player is to reinforce order, investigate the source of the virus and take back New York.
