Lea took to Twitter to happily announce that they've started rehearsals and "have been having the best time!!"
"This is going to be a fun one!!!" she wrote.
Her upcoming movie pairs her with Kate, who is her best friend. They go on a vacation only to end up getting rerouted because of a hurricane. They then fight over the same guy while on a very long layover in St. Louis.
William H. Macy signed on to direct the movie and said that the film started to focus for him when he met the two actresses. He described the women as "singular, ambitious and funny."
Meanwhile, Kate also revealed the news on Twitter and wrote that she'd never thought that she'd be "looking forward to a layover." Kate first showed off her acting chops alongside Cameron Diaz and Leslie Mann in the box office hit "The Other Woman."
