Just like any couple, Matt and Kya Debono were hoping to have the wedding of their dreams. Unfortunately, being faced with life's hardships made it hard for them to achieve the wedding that they've dreamed of having. But with the help of KIIS 1065's Jackie O, Kyle and singer-songwriter Ed Sheeran, they were able to celebrate one heck of a memorable day.

When the hosts of the radio show learned about Matt and Kya's struggles, they invited the couple to join them for a radio segment. There, Matt shared their personal story and revealed that Kya's mother committed suicide a few years back.
He explained that the tragic incident put so much pressure on Kya, who at the same time was raising "two lovely kids and trying to keep us all afloat," before Jackie O and Kyle revealed their surprise and told them that they have been given US$60,000 to fund their dream wedding, sponsored by the Sydney Bridal Expo.
And while that is heartwarming news enough, the story doesn't end there. During their wedding reception, the deserving couple was surprised by the "Lego House" hit maker. Ed appeared in person to serenade the couple and sing his own version of the song the couple chose for their first dance. Sporting a big smile and greeting the couple a "Happy wedding day!" he also performed his hit song "Thinking Out Loud," while the crowd teared up in happiness and excitement.
This surely was a memorable day for the couple, who deserves all the best wishes in the world!
