GoPro, Inc. is reportedly making plans to release GoPro Hero 5 in October with improved features.
GoPro's Hero 5 is expected to improve and present better features than its widely acclaimed older sibling, Hero 4. This since the arrival of fresh reports revealing GoPro secured almost three-quarters of the U.S. market with its Hero 4, allowing over 2.4 million units to be sold in the last quarter of 2014.

GoPro also told customers that an advanced Bluetooth 4.0 will help them access and upload images to the Internet faster, contradicting Hero 5 speculation that its alleged 4K to 8K resolution will only produce upload time delays.
Adding to this, the battery life from Hero 4 to Hero 5 has been elevated to 150 percent, allowing longer time for outdoor video recordings.
Christian Post also reported most buyers shared their suggestions that all good features of Hero 4 shouldn't be divided into a variety of models but rather be combined into a single camera.
Thus, GoPro Hero 5 is expected to have received the good traits of its predecessor, including touchsreen capability.
GoPro Hero 5 is also reportedly expected to be waterproof to a depth of 60 meters, thereby targeting extreme sports users that can now dive 20 meters deeper than Hero 4's underwater endurance.
With the release date expected for fall this year, GoPro Hero 5 will retail for $400 to $500 since competing action cameras sharing similar specs are expected to arrive soon.
