Taiwanese band Mayday's guitarist Wen Shang Yi, more popularly known as Monster, is rumored to have registered his marriage with Lu Zhi Ying on March 25, Wednesday.
A rumor is currently spreading online which claimed that the 38-year old guitarist and his girlfriend, Lu Zhi Ying, have already registered for their marriage. In the past, the Mayday guitarist has openly admitted that he could possibly have a flash marriage in the future, but also stated that if it were to happen, he would not keep the details from the public. However, when contacted by the media, Monster's managing company denied the allegations and stated that no such thing transpired.
Monster has not given his comments about the issue.
Despite of the company's denial of the rumor, many followers of the band are questioning the legitimacy of the management's reply. According to netizens, it is a possibility that the band's managing company was not telling the truth since said Facebook user, which leaked the news, seems to be a reliable source. It was also cited that the user included in its status that the news allegedly came from Lu's parents.
Media reports say that Lu used to work as a part of the technical crew for Mayday. Lu and Monster are also said to be dating for more than two years now, and that in a previous run-in with the media, the couple expressed their plans to get married this year. In addition, they have mentioned that their wedding is likely to be a sudden one.
Until the rumors are confirmed, Monster and his co-band member Ashin, are the only ones who are not married yet in Mayday.
