It has potential to be awful and horrible since there would be no consequences. Well, you get the picture on how much of a chaos it would be. Murder is also included on the list of things to do during the given timeframe.

So far, the movie has grossed U.S.$2.6 Million on its first week. It basically portrays the violence happening beyond the barricaded homes of the wealthy ones.

It also features a group of five individuals wandering around, not killing anyone, but just trying their best to survive. Imagine the kind of adrenaline being pumped into you while watching the movie.

It is rated a B movie by USA Today due to a lot of similarities to the movie "The Hunger Games."

It's a little bit too similar in terms of the wealthy people taking advantage of the lower class in order to remove those whom they don't like in society.

There have also been comments about the logic behind who gets killed and who does the killing.  In one of the scenes, a company boss kills his employees which USA Today commented that such move is a stupid business strategy and does not make any economic sense.

"The Purge: Anarchy" has been written and directed by James DeMonaco and is said to be another micro-budget film but is expected to gross around U.S.$30 million by next week.
