Curiosity killed the cat. Conan, however, aced it and made a dating site turn into something fun rather than awkward. A lot of young people are talking about Tinder nowadays and this comedian tried to give it a shot.

He uploaded a 12- minute video about his adventure with the dating site. The late night host did not do it alone, of course. He asked Dave Franco, a handsome young celeb who does not need the help of any dating site, to get into the dating adventure with him.

They registered and made their profiles for Tinder but under different names. Although their real pictures were used, O'Brien came up with the name Chip Whittley while Franco went by Djengus Roundstone. O'Brien is already 51 but he decided to lower his age to 42.

After completing their profiles, the matches came up, mostly from near their area. O' Brien got a match with a woman named Gloria who was 74 years old. O' Brien sent a couple of messages to Gloria but the lady did not seem too interested.

Franco also matched with Gloria, who seemed more interested in him.

O'Brien pulled out a typewriter from nowhere and said he would write to Gloria in a language she would understand.

Fast forwarding, the duo drove an old van which O'Brien calls 'The tinder van' to meet one of Franco's matches named Courtney, 25. The van looked a lot like a kidnap van with Franco emphasizing it all the more as he held a duct tape which he said should be put away.

While on their way, a couple of girls asked if the duo would like to drink with them. O'Brien turned them down since they are on their way to meet a girl they found on Tinder. They also decided to name their van "brown lightning".

The experiment was basically meant to expose how it is like to be on the dating site. It also gave subtle tips on how to craft your profile to get more matches.

O'Brien summed up his little dating adventure saying this is what the internet does: make strangers meet in the middle of the night and probably decide never to see each other again.
