Fans of X-Men have something new to rave about this coming 2016, the "X-Men: Apocalypse."

According to ComingSoon, Director Bryan Singer announced on Instagram the addition of the character Jubilation Lee which will be portrayed by newcomer Lana Condor.  With various new and younger versions of superheroes, the movie is set to be released on May 27, 2016.

The "X-Men: Apocalypse" is said to be the last installment of the series trilogy that started from "X-Men: First Class" followed by "X-Men: Days of the Future Past." Its comprehensive overhaul on superheroes include British actor Ben Hardy from "East Enders." Although his superhero role is not yet finalized, speculations say that a significant role is being prepared for him. Jennifer Lawrence will still grace the third of the trilogy alongside James Mcavoy, Nicholas Hoult and Michael Fassbender.

"Game of Thrones" star Sophie Turner also landed the role of Jean Grey, mostly credited for her portrayal of the character in its HBO series. She was quoted saying, "I think maybe one of the reasons they chose me for is because they saw the dark side of Sansa." She also added, "I think Famke played Jean incredibly well, but also, I'm playing a younger version of her."

As an addition to the confirmed mutant roles, Byan Singer revealed that Kodi Smit-Mcphee will play the role of the Nightcrawler, a mutant character that has the ability to teleport. Quicksilver will also be a fixture in the "X-Men: Apocalypse" as peter Maximoff confirms more sighting of the Quicksilver in the upcoming sequel.

"X-Men: Apocalypse" may seem like the curtain closing for the series, yet also an introduction for a new "X-Men" version built from younger characters. The filming of the movie is set to begin in April and its production is said to be underway and 20^th Century Fox targets the May 27, 2016 release date. The casting is a sure indication of a new era for the X-Men installment.
