Taiwanese singer Annie Yi, following the criticisms thrown at her due to her second marriage to Chinese actor Qin Hao, has finally responded, telling her critiques off.
Since announcing her decision to marry Qin in November of last year, Yi has put up with the criticisms being thrown at her by netizens. However, the singer has had it with the insults earlier this week when she was accused of being a shameful and selfish mother for her course of actions with regard to her new relationship.

On March 21, Saturday, the 41-year old singer and Qin held their wedding in Phuket, Thailand. Wishing to share her joy to the public, Yi uploaded her wedding photos on her personal Weibo account. However, her second marriage was no positively accepted by the public and was met with a lot of disapproval.
Though some netizens congratulated Yi and her actor husband, some netizens left harsh comments on the photos. Some users labeled Yi an insensitive mother to her teenage son, Harrison Yu, who is her child her former husband, Taiwanese singer Harlem Yu.
Another user branded her a shameful mother and accused her of cheating on the 'Qing Fei De Yi' singer, adding that Yi was the one behind their divorce, and held a grand wedding ceremony for her second marriage.
Yi has then given a rather furious response to those who opposed her. "I have never kept my little prince in secret," she began her post, referring to her son. "He has been by my side all along and he knows very well how I fare as his mother."
The singer has also stated in her post that nobody apart from her son has the right to judge and that no 'outsider' has the right to speak on Harrison's behalf. "Time would prove everything," she said, ending her initial post.
However, the actress added, "You need to focus on what you have and not what you have lost," balancing out her rather harsh post.
The singer has then earned the praise of netizens for being wise and high-minded about the matter, while others left encouraging comments for her.
